– Dr. Wang endeavors to maintain the highest standard of teaching and research, and he has served many administrative positions, and received the Outstanding Administrative Service Award.
– Dr. Wang has made impressive service on community health promotion for thousands of citizens for the past 16 years.
– Dr. Wang has devoted himself to international affairs. He has organized two international conferences for the ISNFF and NAPA in Taiwan (2008, 2013 and 2018 respectively), he has served as an executive member for past 13 years. He is the current president of ISNFF.

The leadership of the nominee can be best demonstrated by the fact that he has served many administrative positions at CSMU, Nutrition Society of Taiwan, ISNFF, and Taiwan Association for Food Science and Technology. He has served as the Chair of the School of Nutrition and, the Dean of the College of Health Care and Management, the Vice President. The most recent position that the nominee served was the President of the university. At this position, he has successfully reformed the research circumstance (combining the resources of university and affiliated hospital) and promoted more than 30% of SCI papers, and initiated many programs for improving the teaching quality and the students’ learning outcome. The nominee has served in the Food committee of Consumers’ Foundation of Taiwan for 30 years, and served in the ILSI Taiwan and GHI. The nominee is aggressive to push health legislation and law. He has served as the President of Nutrition Society of Taiwan. At this position, he has successfully promoted the professional role of dietitian for human health in the law of School Sanitary and pushed National Nutrition act. As a professor, the nominee has been the major advisor for more than 120 master and 20 PhD students. He has published more than 256 papers, and the authors of more than 15 book chapters. From 2018, Dr. Wang started Precision Health work from his team. He joined and worked as executive member in the International Society of Precision Cancer Medicine. He also plans to host an International Conference of Precision Health and initiate the International Society of Precision Health in Taiwan 2025.
